Are marmots climate change losers now?

Check out the recent news item in National Geographic reporting on some of our work on yellow-bellied marmots.  I'm hopefully optimistic that the population will recover now...but the heat and droughts this summer seemed particularly bad for many populations of Colorado yellow-bellied marmots.
